Meet the Owner

Located in the quaint little town of Deerfield, Twisted Hollow Homestead got its start with owner, Kayla Corona made the decision to leave the busy New York life, and return to her roots at home in New Hampshire.

Kayla grew up in the town of Raymond, NH. With dreams of seeing the world, she left her small town life for New York, where she met her husband, a Navy sailor. They made their way to Hawaii, where her husband was stationed at Joint Base Pearl Harbor/Hickam. There she and her husband welcomed their first of their three children. Their family returned to New York to settle in the beautiful Hudson Valley where Kayla established her first business, a candle and soap company called Bird's Creations. But when the pandemic hit, hardship struck, and she was forced to close her business. Missing the simplicity and tired of the fast-paced lifestyle of New York, she and her husband decided to move back to New Hampshire. Though it was not easy, they eventually purchased a 7.5+ acre home in the town of Deerfield, surrounded by friends and family. With a chance to restart, Kayla opened Twisted Hollow Homestead in 2022, naming it after the land they live on and its winding pathways through dense woods.
